Pickled Okra? Bloody Mary Mix? What more could you ask for in a salad? This fresh, acidic salad makes an amazing match for BBQ, pork butt, brisket, anything smoky with BBQ sauce. The dressing is a little spicy, a little tangy, just like a Bloody Mary. I first had this dish at a family dinner over the holidays and have made it many times since. This fantastic recipe comes from Southern Living: Bloody Mary Green Bean Salad. For serving, it looks beautiful spread out in a nice serving platter.

And this pickled okra is my new addiction. I could eat the whole jar. You can buy it on Amazon or if you live in the right part of the country, buy it at Walmart. I have even put it on tuna salad to change things up and it was amazing.
